15. Reduce image sizeIn the FrontPage Editor, you can click any picture residing on the current page and use the handles that appear to resize the image.If you make an image smaller, you'll notice that the download time for the page (shown in the lower-right corner of the status bar) remains the same. That's because when you resize a picture, FrontPage scales it without actually altering the image file itself. If you don't want your original image file to be permanently altered, then leave things as they are. If, on the other hand, you'd like to reduce the time it takes for your page to download, you can resample the image.
First, resize the image, then click the Resample button in the Image toolbar. The button looks like a small image square with arrows pointing toward its four corners, and your page will load faster than ever. Just be aware that if you resize an image to make it larger, resampling it will increase the page's download time. Related tips:
